Tears fall

 

 

Love…

how it digs deep in the soul.

 

Take me and let my heart be found true,

for my love is unconditional.

 

I will love harder than the strongest heart,

but inside I am fragile.

 

Could you see how my tears soften the ground,

where we stand?

 

Could you feel my heart as I hand it to you,

could you feel my pain,

when you take it away?

 

If not for your heart,

I would not know love.

 

The darkness that fallows,

are filled with the tears,

that soften the ground we stand on.

 

As I shift to the darkness,

I will take the light of your friendship.

 

It will keep me warm on the cold lonely nights,
