You and me Romeo and JulietA Poem by ronA love I could not have...You
and I Romeo
and Juliet
Love… How
come it hurts so bad.
You
are my dream, the one I think of all day, and
night.
I
have worn out jeans I wear, you
have you tee shirts you sleep in.
You
have that most beautiful smile you wear, when
your sleep.
The
way your body moves, your
eyes… no
Angel could wear them like you do.
But
I wear jeans, he wears slacks tailored, to
his perfectly muscle tanned body, I
am no one in the grand sceam of things.
Would
you let me into your dreams?
The
dream of how I can make you feel, the
dreams of who I am.
I
understand I am Ron, who makes others laugh, I
make you feel good for the one your with and always will be with.
I
smile and see you walk into your dream, and
I am grateful I could see you off.
I
turn away and walk into my dream, the
darkness that keeps me cold on a cold night, but
it’s better than a broken heart.
Could
you dream of me for just one second? I
would be the one that sleeps at your back door, waiting
for you to notice me.
He
will never know your story like I do, but
I wear worn out jeans, and
he wears tailored slacks.
I
walk in the street, homeless
in your heart, but
your heart feels who I am.
If
your father could see you belong to me, he
would see love that transcends, LOVE.
It
transcends life, it
transcends everything we are.
But
you wear your tee shirt when you sleep, and
you wear an Angels smile, I
wear worn out jeans, I
wear a heart that is too old for you,
I
am not young enough for your heart, according
to others.
