A letter to my daughter

 

If the taste of love hurt in the worst way...then I would love to taste it...but the pain of it all will burn deep in my soul.

Would the curves of it all love still feels more than I am.

I will give my all to you.

Could you not feel something...anything in your heart.

I remember when you jumped into my arms when I landed after we came back from GETMO.

It brings tears to my face...tears of joy.

I understand the poem. I was deployed often in my 15 year active. I came home from Honderas after one year. My daughter jump the safety gate and ran to me. These are the things we remember. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
