Her love

Her love

A Poem by ron

Her love

In her memories she dreamed of her true love.

I looked into her eyes and saw her pain,

her heart she kept hidden.

Her love was not seen by the ones around her,

but in my eyes I could see love bound to only one shore.

---Sighs---

It was a love that held no boundaries.

If you felt her touch you would burn in passion.

But not everyone sees.

My heart beat fast and hard,

was I a fool for loving her?

No said my heart.

Her love was meant for you,

let the moonlight prove it true.

Let the stars show the way.

So the night was warm and inviting,

the hearts did sigh,

and the rain of love drenched us in passion.

But for this moment in time,

she would not love me,

I was not her love.

I was a mere passing of time and moment,

drenched in emotion.

She never did love me.
