The Bonnie Banks O' Loch LomondA Poem by ronThe
Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond
My
heart will drift through the ebb and flow, of
the rivers of love.
The
glow shall never be brighter, then
it is now.
For
I will take the road above and below you, to
meet you in the Glen’s love.
Let
the Bonnie, Bonnie Banks see us through the distance, that
separates our love.
Give
up your heart to the Banks, and
the Banks will join us, in
the stars that shine on… Scotland.
Your
heart beats in time with mine in the Glen, and
nothing will ever take this from us.
For
me and my true love will meet on the, Bonnie
Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond.
Unlike
them, we will meet again, my
dear sweet love.
Let
the wild flowers sing of my broken heart, if
ever you where to leave me.
Twa’s
my heart that beat in the, purple
hew.
Twa’s
my true love that waited, on
the Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond.
For
my heart will take the high road, to
meet you… my
true love.
Never
forget, My
heart beats on the, Bonnie
Banks O' Loch Lomond.
For
you take the high road, and
I’ll take low road, and
I will meet you in Scotland, upon
a full moon.
Let
our kiss spark a lover’s heartbeat. Let
our love show bright as the northern star. © 2014 ronAuthor's Note |
