I never want to leave

I never want to leave

A Poem by ron

I never want to leave

I lie here watching you sleep,

wondering what your dreaming of.

I watch the way your eyes light up,

even when they are closed.

I watch your hand,

I could reach out, but that might wake you.

I see your chest rise and fall,

I know the heart that lies just under your breast.

I watch your lips, the ones I have kissed a thousand times,

I love how they part not making a sound.

I watch your body,

remembering how it moves.

But most of all,

I watch your love and...

how it glows.

I could relate to this because I think these kinds of things when I watch my husband sleep. Beautiful writing. I really enjoyed reading this.

Thank you. I just pictured what it would feel like with someone I love.
'I know the heart that lies just under your breast.' That's very romantic Ron.

Thank you very much Ambra...xo
A beautiful poem. Always hard to leave a woman safe and sound in her bed. The good description brought to life a nice vision. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome.
So very romantic my friend. You write with your heart, pouring it on to the page - it's like in every poem you're confessing your love for that special someone.

Beautiful.
