The proposal for a life time

 

 

 

A love I did find so pure and sweet,

she took my heart and made it beat.

 

My love for her has grown and grown.

She is the light in my life when there was only the dark.

 

So I thought and thought what would I say,

if one day she would agree to marry me.

 

So this how it has played out in my head,

I’m nervous just writing this today.

 

Under the full moon so the stars could see. I would place white

feathers in the trees and on the ground (to make it look like Angels are near by watching us). Candles would be lit and our favorite song would be playing softly in the background.

 

I would get on one knee, shaking like a tree in the wind. I would look into her eyes and ask her...

“Dear sweet name inserted here you are the one who has stole my heart, you have made my heart beat, you are the one I want until the end of time. Will you name inserted here accept my hand in marriage, to have and to hold until the end of time, Will you be the last breath I take and the one who will live in my heart forever. Will you name inserted here let me be your husband from this day forward? Will you 

name inserted here do me the honor and Marry me?

 

And on that night if her answer was yes...

 

The moon and the stars would rearrange to spell out our love in the night,

so lovers around the world would know...

 

That perfect love has born one heart that very night.
