I shall never know deathA Poem by ronI shall never know death
No boat will I be placed, in honor of my death.
Odin will not send his Valkyries to claim me, and carry me to Valhalla to await Ragnarok.
Nor will Freyja allow me entrance to Folkvangr.
I shall be cast out, my name stricken from the books.
My sword shattered and thrown to the seven realms, my armor and shield to rust away and be taken by the winds.
No soul will I be allowed, no mist will take me.
My crime was so great, that the Gods themselves have disowned me.
No hall of feast will I dine in, for in death my greatest flaw was not loving you as a Goddess.
