Lying with you on my chestA Poem by ronLying with you on my chest
My chest rises and falls, you kiss it softly each time your lips meet my chest.
I sigh from the feel, of your ear on my heart.
I hold you tighter, afraid you will leave.
I don’t know how much time we have together, but right now you’re lying next to me.
If I could freeze time I would, is it wrong to want this forever?
I fear the morning light of life, you have left each time.
Will you stay longer, or will you fade away with the light? © 2014 ron |
