And what of the love...never feltA Poem by ronAnd what of the love...never felt
Dose the heart never feel? Does it beat for the darkness that seeps into the corners of our life?
Would it hurt so bad if it was felt? Would it break you into a million pieces?
Will it grow inside of you, feeling life for the first time?
Will you breathe it in and sigh when it hit you? Would a million thirsty drinks be drunk if the cup was filled with the love in your heart.
So hold me now...hold my heart in your hands and make me feel. Make my heart beat for a love never felt.
Take me in your embrace and love me. Love the me that has never felt love.
Hold your heart out and I will take it. I will never break yours if you hold mine.
Show me what yours feels like, and I will open mine for you to taste.
