How can love not find it’s mark,

was my heart not big enough?

 

Lost and never seen,

why does love not find me?

 

Did I hide it so no one would see?

Was it a wish given when it was broken “please don’t find it and break it”.

 

Then out of the blue,

in a strike of thunder and lightning,

cupid found his mark.

 

It took my breath away,

made me sigh in the middle of the night.

 

Made my knees weak,

made me blush without reason.

 

Now it won’t stop it’s beating,

oh yes it beats to a beat I had forgotten about.

 

It does loops in the middle of the night without a reason.

 

Shh I have a secret...

sometimes for no reason at all I yell out...

“I love you so much” -blushing-.

 

Yes I have it bad... its not for the weak at heart,

but it can make any heart stronger then you could imagine.

 

So give it a try,

who knows you might wear it so well that even cupid will take notice.

Dean Martin. Yes, my mom thought he was "dreamy" along with my grade seven teacher, lol. A nice write. Just remember not to put an apostrophe on its when it is possessive.
