StrippedA Poem by ronStripped
Laid on the alter of love, my passion spent, my heart shattered.
Trying to cover my cold bleeding body in a blanket that is worn and tattered. The cruel wind cuts at the wounds left by fate that destined us to be apart.
The emptiness inside of me cries sounds that no one will ever hear. My wrists raw from the bonds that held me prisoner from your heart.
My heart refusing to beat, it can no longer stand the pain.
I shut my eyes and welcome the darkness, that will consume me.
I am not even worth fates time to torture my heart, my soul can no longer bleed a single drop.
I fade into nothingness like a dark cruel mist, welcoming the emptiness that awaits.
