As the Rose blooms

As the Rose blooms

A Poem by ron

As the Rose blooms

At first it starts rather small,

the petals have not yet shown.

Then slowly it buds,

still covered in its protective shell.

The shell parts ever so slightly,

showing the colors of what has been hidden.

The petals reach out,

to be kissed by the sun.

Fully it opens,

as the scent burst forth.

Its petals a deep rich color,

a new one is born this day.

Could you imaging if the rose that was born,

was how I saw you the first day my heart bloomed.

This is quite a romantic poem and it's nice to see the beauty within the poem, not just the imagery, but the words themselves!

Welcome :)
Ron you blew me away with this one. This is one of my favourites from you for sure. I really loved it all, I loved how it started off explaining and then you turned it into an emotion - love.

Beautiful.
