Could we ever measure up

Could we ever measure up

A Poem by ron

Could we ever measure up

I would see all the girls with their boyfriends at school,

I would wish and dream about having one to.

But my shyness kept from saying,

hello or hi, how are you doing.

Just the thought of standing a few feet away,

would make me feel so awkward I had a hard time breathing.

So there I sat day after day,

wishing and hoping she just would look my way.

I saw the girls that no guys wanted,

and thought to my self “I know just how your feeling”.

But even for the ones that where to shy as well,

I never felt worthy to say,

hello or hi, how are you doing.

They would all ways think I was an out-cast,

so alone I did sit.

Wishing and hoping someone would notice.

Have faith Ron! We all love you here at the cafe and we definitely notice you. :) You just shine at the cafe here, don't let no one tell you different my friend. I can, however, relate to this one...
