The softness of your heart

The softness of your heart

A Poem by ron

The softness of your heart

I felt it in your words,

your eyes told me what your lips could not.

The wind carried your thoughts,

and caressed my skin.

Your soundless emotions,

drifted into my heart and made it come alive.

How long my heart was dead,

how long did it have to wait?

If I knew you would have drifted into my life,

I would have waited an eternity for you to touch me.

For your eyes to see me,

for your heart to caress mine.

Separated by things unseen,

still you have filled me with the glow of who you are.

I would wait a thousand life times,

for a single moment with you.

This is so beautiful and loving... you have completely left me speechless and my heart feels lile it's on cloud 9.

I loved the imagery and wording.
