If I was better then I was.

If I could take back the tears you shed because of me.

 

Your lonely nights when you needed me,

the times when you asked...where are you.

 

I was lost in guilt that held me tight,

I was lost in not going home when I was told not to come.

 

I was lost in a world I lived to defend every one but you.

How my heart bleeds for the time You lost.

 

Wake me up I will answer,

look into my heart that bleeds from what I have done.

 

Do you see what is true?

Do you come undone by my words?

 

Do you not see the truth?

wow this one feels like shattered glass thrusts in the heart, then the flesh sewn back up with out a scar or trace of surgery. Yet we know the charred glass was never removed

There is one thing I learned from life. We can never really turn back time, or we can never undo what's already done. What matters now is how you spent it into making up from those mistakes. A very sad piece.

This is another sad, poignant poem Ron. I don't think anyone would ever want you to take back what you said - they'd end up crying.
