Forgotten HeartA Poem by ronForgotten Heart
Hearts beat in time with the gentle sway of the tall grass. Breathless whispers carried too lovers on summer times breeze.
Rays of sunlight catch golden highlights in your hair, as star dust sparkle in your eyes.
Nature sway’s with your every motion, birds and butterflies smitten with your lilting voice. Hummingbirds whisper secrets in your ear.
I look back and see the memory of me has left your eyes. To younger ones you now belong.
I do not regret a single moment, your memory will keep me warm as winters greets me, and you stay in summer times light.
