Secrets kept for all to see

 

 

I keep it hidden between my words of ink,

to say what I feel would be more then I could bare.

 

So I write of love, passion, and fears,

I write my poems in the hopes you will hear.

 

I know too you, these poems are just words,

but in my heart I dream that you will know their true meaning.

 

I feel like I did the first time I fell for puppy love,

or that moment just before my first kiss, when I was afraid she would run.

 

My heart beats faster, my mouth is dry,

just writing this poem...I almost want to cry.

 

I hold you in the arms of my mind,

I kiss the moments when you reply.

 

I don’t know if I can ever tell you how I feel,

for know just knowing is enough that you are reading.
