Watching...

Watching...

A Poem by ron

Watching...

In the distance as two lovers become one,

Oh how the moon does cry.

The clouds block the sunshine,

as the rain tries to wash away their essence.

Quietly I weep for the watcher,

wishing I could take away the pain.

Trembling from the fear they will find love,

from afar.

What could I do but watch the watcher.

yes, what Lydi said so well below, so i'll just say I know how this feels and admire the way you were able to get that feeling across with your words.

Thank you. You are most kind to say. I am very glad you read my poem.
Sometimes it is impossible to help a situation even though you "feel" it and are observing it. People have to make their own mistakes and will not listen to advice unless they have experienced it themselves. So empathetic....great imagery...very well written, Ron. Lydi**

♥.........
There are some love stories which have beautiful ending...but there are some which have sad ending.
The ending relies not in our hands..sometimes what we can do is to watch...and cry.
Thank you for sharing this.
