I touch your fingers

I touch your fingers

A Poem by ron

I touch your fingers

In my mind I touch my fingers with yours.

I’m so tired...please understand I am still the same.

Time cannot erase all that I hold in my heart for you.

I am all of you, all that you knew and felt.

Please remember how my hert beats for you.

When you made your first cry,

When you took my finger in you small and fragle hand,

When you looked into my eyes and loved me.

Your smile resides in me to this very day.

Your inocent smile, a wonder to behold.

When you cryed, I held you softly.

Your heart beat so fast.

Since I have been gone..........

I remembered all of who you reminded me of my self.

Your resinate deep with inside my very soul,

time cannot erase what I remember of you.

Still I have left you when you needed me the most.

I hate myself for what I did to you.

For all my tears I know they are far lesss then what you held for me.

Should I show you my fears?

Wounds that time wont erase.

I wanted to be there to whipe away all your tears,

When you screamed I pine away all your fears,

I wanted to be there for you to tell me of your first kiss.

Of the one that made your heart beat fast,

of the one that held your imagine fast.

I cannot tell myself you are gone,

for you wil never leave my heart or soul.
