Foggy Dew

Foggy Dew

A Poem by ron

Foggy Dew

What of the ones that fell on that foggy dew.

Long range guns fell in the Foggy dew.

Would you count them in your preys?

Would you count them in the foggy dew?

Be brig-gens, Patriots, Loyal men and women all,

still they stood and fought for what they knew what was true in their hearts.

Will you call their names when the bell rings, or will they fall with nar a name spoken while the sweet honey dew is drunken?

Do they deserve less than what you can give?

I fear that this Nation shall fall by the foggy dew.

While the world did gaze at those men in the foggy dew,

the world passed them by in requiem, response under the flag of war was given, that caused all men to fall to the tyrants drum.

Let not the tyrants drum beat one beat.

Let the sound of freedom ring loud and clear.

Let the ones before us feel pride in our actions and words.

Let us not forget those who gave so much so that we may be who we are now.
