I have no proper gift to bringA Poem by ronI have no proper gift to bring
So the lamb was laid to rest, And the boy approached.
I have no proper gift to bring. The child King smiled, and said; I am a poor boy too.
The Shepard asked, “Would you accept my gift?”
In the Heavenly light the King did accept the shepherd’s gift. And the Angels sang from high.
Let not this gift be given to one man alone, Let this gift be given to all who believe.
My crown I give to all who believe. So the Shepard boy did play.
A light did rise and cast its glow across all who believed. SO THE DRUMMER boy did play.
Christ smiled on the little drummer boy, “You have given me a gift from your heart”…
Christ laid his hand on the lamb, And the lamb rose to become a King to shine its light on all those who
would see. © 2013 ronReviews
