I paid my heart awayA Poem by ronI paid my heart away
As love and I met on a cold dark night, We shared a lover’s embrace.
We kissed and cooed the night away, How warm it made our hearts.
We shared more than morsels, We feasted on passion.
We dined on the dessert of our needs. We drank in the others scent, to quench the thirst.
The cold dark night.., the cold dark night. How it tears at my soul.
For after the sun came up, You stole my heart in your purse. © 2013 ronReviews
