Feelings

Feelings

 

Wrapped in feelings are desires, needs, and passions.

Some act on them, and some allow them to control us.

While others shut them away, never to feel anything.

 

Would it be such a crime to at least, try to explore them?

Would it hurt more than a person could bear?

 

I for one will try to explore such things at a distance.

I will write of such things, but not allow myself to experience them too closely.

 

In some respects, they are foreign to me, and will remain so.

It is not out of fear of what could be possible.

It is that such things are not meant for me.

 

Please do not pity me, or think I am ungrateful for any concerns.

Just accept that I have accepted that this is the hand, that life has dealt me.
