Being Shy

 

For some, being shy means never meeting someone,

Or left in the corner never to be noticed.

 

For me it was the same feeling.

But I have learned this is not true.

 

Being shy means, you are free to dream without walls,

Shy people fall in love and not just lust.

 

Shy people feel more passion than most others do.

Shy people will most always be faithful to the ones they love.

 

Shy people dream what others have a hard time understanding.

This is not to say people who are not shy cannot or do not.

 

I would rather be with a girl who is shy, why you ask.

I want to grow with a person and not be taught.

 

I want to share as the walls come down.

For me that is one of the more romantic aspects of someone who is shy.

Nowadays, being an extrovert is not looked upon as being the only good way to be. Since you appear to be a shy person, it's probably natural for you to want to relate to another shy person. The saying that opposites attract is highly overrated, IMHO. Your poem makes many good points. Nice work.
