I loved her completely

I loved her completely

A Poem by ron

I loved her completely

I would follow her to the ends of the earth,

Proclaiming my love for her.

I would do anything she asked,

My heart was hers to take.

“She loved me,”

Was what I believed.

I was hers and only hers,

Not another woman would I seek.

She had me in her heart,

And let me play into the dark.

She threw me away,

One dark and stormy night.

Now I know the truth was shown…

Cupid had a sense of humor.

I've lived this tale in my past. Its a tradgic reality that far too many people have a twisted sense of "committment, loyalty, dedication, care and respect". I'm very sorry that happened to you but rest assured... you are better off without her and deserve better. Never settle for less and respect yourself.

Thank you Sultry. Yes it is a tragic reality.
