I loved her completelyA Poem by ronI loved her completely
I would follow her to the ends of the earth, Proclaiming my love for her.
I would do anything she asked, My heart was hers to take.
“She loved me,” Was what I believed.
I was hers and only hers, Not another woman would I seek.
She had me in her heart, And let me play into the dark.
She threw me away, One dark and stormy night.
Now I know the truth was shown… … Cupid had a sense of humor. © 2013 ronReviews
