A Price to high to payA Poem by ronA Price to high to pay
Caught between then and now. Numbed by things I use to enjoy.
Empty feelings equal, No pain, No tears, No broken hearts, No guilt, No remorse.
To have loved to strongly is what burns a soul out. The innocent are the ones who pay your price every day.
Some prices are too much to pay. For a moment of happiness that won’t even stay.
It was a chance to be happy. What a fool my heart was.
I always hurt the ones that I love. © 2013 ronReviews
