When I look at you, I do not see the outside.

I see how your heart beats with passion that has starved.

 

I see the stars in your eyes, and the longing in your face.

You could melt a man’s heart and tear down his fences.

 

To me there is something more than you are willing to show.

I want to see the real you, the part of you nobody knows.

 

I do not want a touch of your fingers on my skin.

I want to feel how you touch someone within.

 

To feel your thoughts and touch your dreams.

This is the you I want to feel each day that you bring.

 

Call me romantic and so out of touch.

I will tell you this truthfully, it is what I want most.

With all these feelings, perhaps you could go with one of the strongest I have ever found in this great Sapphire world of ours.

And that is, having your hand held. In this simple act, you show friendship, support, protection, encouragement, passion, commitment, endurance, understanding, concern, and yes - LOVE.

To me, having your hand held is the singlemost important act one can ever show to another, outweighing and outlying all else. Perhaps I'm alone in this belief. Others may think sex or kissing or some other inhibitive or promiscuous desire is the only way to show your true love for someone else.

But I say this ─ hold someone's hand, Ron. KNOW how that feels first, and know the person within from that simple human contact that cover centuries of communication and feelings for one another.
