You tell me this is our place.

However, I have very little to say about it.

 

You tell me you want me in your life.

Just as long as I agree with you.

 

You want us to talk more.

When I did, you gave me 3 minutes and then you would get frustrated.

 

I asked to leave once.

You told me you would be vindictive if I did.

 

I love you still; it is just hard to breathe in here.

I sit quietly hoping you will see the tears that do not show.

Sounds like a happy romance to me. I remember Rose had, 'my room' where my comforts were. I had my computer and Teddy Bears and stuff but she had the run of the rest of the house and heaven help me if I left my room for anything when she was in, 'cleaning' or 'cooking' mode.

So don't feel bad Ron. Women have the run of the house and it doesn't bother me. Find a room you're comfortable in and stay put. She'll thank you for it and you won't be getting underfoot which is what Rose told me (and still does today). :)

I have to ask, and maybe you'll give me the look, and maybe I deserve it ... Do you know what she wants ? The biggest part of relationship troubles I have always seen is ─ lack of communication.

I am not the best communicator and I know that is a very big part of our relationship. But when the other person wont even listen without having a negative emotional response thats when I tend to shut down. That sounds like good material for a poem. May be showing people who I realy am. You have made me think think you.

Yes, communication is key. If she won't listen, write her. If you feel the relationship is worth saving and salvaging, make the effort. Watch some of Disney's romance films and see the lengths and leaps the prince goes to winning the heart of fair maiden.

It's not as easy as it used to be and sometimes - you have to be firm with a kiss.

There is an country song I think its called I'll need someone to hold me when I cry. In the song she is talking to her best friend who is also the man leaving her.. This piece brought that song to mind and I had not thought of it in maybe twenty years. Its so difficult when the one you use to confide in and talk to and cry to is now the cause of the pain. take care sweet friend. xoxo

Yes! I was in band in high school and middle school. I am currently going to Carson-Newman University where I am in the marching band, wind ensemble, symphonic band, and the jazz band. I am majoring in music education.

Thank you. I'm not sure if it's me or her or both but I know niether one of us is happy. I think tonight was the beggining of the end. In truth I am both relived and saddened by it. just feel like curling up and dissapering from life altogeather.

This just speak volumes. -sighs- So many couples go through this. It seems that so many of use like to have it our own way, when that is not the meaning of we, us, or our. The point of being together when it comes to disagreements is coming to a compromise and finding common ground. There are times we have to give in depending on what is best, but to not be heard that is another story. It's funny how we can love that one person, no matter how much they put us through. They say it's always those people that we love the most, that can do the most damage. I hope it gets better. If you ever need to talk feel free to message, friend. xo
