FreedomA Poem by ronFreedom
The standard we hold true shall not falter. It is who we are and not just, what we are.
We are this flag, held by a common belief that all men and women are held to the same standard and expect that each of us conduct them ourselves to that same standard. Indivisible; we have become a nation that is divided. How then can we stand in front of the world and claim we are right?
Justice; how can we have justice when our own justice has been so skewed by politics that it cannot even see it’s self.
And justice for all. For all; this is as much my country as much as it is yours (Red Skelton).
I do not know what you believe in but for me these are some of the words that freedom has risen from, or at least I hope. © 2013 ronReviews
