In the mornings sunrise I see the light of your soul and it gives the inspiration to take on the day’s task.

 

In the midday when I am spent, I look only to your beauty to keep me on task.

 

And when the sunset is upon me, I look to your watchfulness to know all that I have done that day is what keeps you safe.

I wrote this while I was stationed in Guantanamo Bay in 2005-2006.

What the character in the poem is trying to say is that it needs darkness to rest after a long day of work in the sunlight.

Its the insperation I get to keep me on the task of my job in the Army. I had not thought about it in the way you inturprated it...very interesting. I love the new pic very cute.
