On road the worrier; on road his glory.

On road the worrier, we will tell of his story.

 

Do not cry for me for I have given my might.

Cry for the ones I could not save this night.

For I am a force to reckon with, I am the heart of those that are forsaken.

Fear me if you mean you do us harm.

Fear me for I am the ones that are strong.

I could actually hear a soft bugle and loud drums beat as I read this. You had this so pictured and personified nicely, well written words that definitely get the heart and head to thinking about our country and the freedom won in it.

BTW, Worrier is the word that The Wizard Of Wor calls the players in the video-game of the same name. While it's good for an 80s arcade video-game, you may be more interested in, "warrior." :)

Which root is the word, "war" as in military and serving and defending your country.
