Dreams Don't Come true

My eyes could’ve caused the world to end. Maybe not your world but mine. It would have flooded human kind to their doom. My Worlds isn't exactly the like the ones with lollipops and Cinderella in her glass heels. And the fairy god mother coming to the rescue and dancing with the prince till midnight. My world doesn't  contain tooth fairies placing money under my pillow for a little tooth. You know what else it isn't, It isn't me being happy and skipping and singing a happy song. My world is more like the roses with thorns that prick you in the hand after giving it a compliment about its beauty.The only thing I wished for in this dumb world was to get to be a track star. But the world doesn't favor me. Cinderella once said a dream is a wish your heart makes and if you keep on believing the dream that you wish will come true. This is why I don't watch these thing anymore because I’m tired of being lied to. I believed and believed and kept on believing and the only thing that helped me with is my eyes flooding humankind as I said before. My brothers college funds were killing my dreams as it was also killing me. And there my dreams were crushed into thin ice.
