This is a very tasty write and you have got my mouth watering, especially as I haven't had breakfast yet. I haven't been to Lima, but you certainly make it sound enticing for foodovers. And those cocktails, well that's the icing on the cake for me.
Love the attention-grabbing title. Love how you do a tricky perception thing with the name "Lima" (could be woman, could be place). But most of all, you do the thing I love most in poetry, when a person uses vivid details to show instead of tell. You are slamming that concept here (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thanks! These days a virtual hug is as good as it gets.
This is a delectable collection of things and beautifully chosen words. My compliments on this absolute delightful poem! We all long for this ordeal to end so we may go back to those much longed for treats and tastes.

The one benefit of this ordeal is that I found new places to eat, albeit take out only or now outdoor eating. Among others, I found a really good Indian restaurant here in the desert of Southern California, and I posted some of their delights on my food blog (noteworthyfood.weebly.com).
I knew I should have had breakfast before reviewing, I'm belly grumble hungry now.
This is definitely the way to travel, instead of looking for the nearest McDonalds and shouting loudly in English like it's their fault they don't speak like us. When in Lime, eh? Or is that only Rome?
Have always wanted to see the nazca lines and your words have just moved it nearer the top of my bucket list. I'll just print this out and use it as a recipe guide when I get there 😀

The mashed potato edible art is called "causa". Don't miss it.

I really enjoyed the gastronomic journey you took this reader on my friend.. I have never been to Peru, well not yet.. I have been to Colombia though which I believe is only next door and whose delights I have tasted and savoured.... A tasty post if ever there was.. Neville
