I still reminisce those long walks at night,
the beach then would be so quiet,
I held your hand and pulled you close,
and so did the moon to sea across the shore
Searching your sky blue eyes for something,
Whilst warm summer breeze flowing akin,
your lips parted a smile so serene,
And that's how I found what was gone.
I knew it then loving you would never,
be a simple question to comprehend,
I never wanted those days to end,
while looking at our tomorrow forever.
Truly beautiful. I love poetry and writing, and your poem was really great!
Man, all I see on my updates are people reviewing YOUR awesome poems!
(*Sigh* I never get reviews... Lucky. :D)

Beautiful poem. I really like the first two lines "I still reminisce those long walks at night, the beach then would be so quiet." I interpret it as you are so lost in the other person that you hear nothing and your mind is engulfed in her presence. Good work I really enjoyed reading your work.
Cannot fault this poem, serenely quiet and peaceful to read, full of meaning and simple in its structure.
A model case of the poet art, no clichés, no airy-fairy modifiers, no extremes of language, no tongue twisting metaphors, no odd plots, not puzzles to scratch our heads at.
It will be too simple for some, but I think that it has accomplished to set out its stall for all to see and admire, to agree with and be settled in themselves. I am not saying all poems must be like this to be good, I am saying after reading this aloud, I am content.
I still reminisce those long walks at night,
the beach then would be so quiet,
I held your hand and pulled you close,
and so did the moon to sea across the shore
Searching your sky blue eyes for something,
Whilst warm summer breeze flowing akin, [no capital for whilst, comma on proceeding line]
your lips parted a smile so serene,
And that's how I found what was gone. [no capital letter for 'and' as you end the proceeding line with a comma-]
I knew it then loving you would never,
be a simple question to comprehend,
I never wanted those days to end,
while looking at our tomorrow forever.
A very romantic piece with an abundance of emotion that you share with us the reader. The last line wraps it up very nicely. I can see your other half loving this!
