RUNAWAY STAR

RUNAWAY STAR

A Poem by Chandler bing
"

NONE WHATSOEVER.

"
                                                         RUNAWAY STAR
In the winter murk,
Along the turf,
standing alone,
Unheard and unharmed,
looking at the starry sky,
with infinite possibilities,
I see a shooting star,
Burning with ardor,
Desolate and driven,
That astronomical marvel,
With it's majestic tail,
Made a sudden trail,
So near yet so far,
Moments later,
It was gone,
Unheard and unharmed.

I really like the parallels between you and the star and how when it comes down to it we're here and gone in a flash; or in your case, there and gone in a flash. I didn't see any of the recent reviews touch on the fact that you used the same line to describe your coming there to the star appearing so I just thought I'd note that and give ya some credit ^.^

Nice visions create by the poem. The sky and stars can make us wish upon a star and hold hope. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
