I Don't Want To Go

I Don't Want To Go

A Poem by Rogie-Dodge
"

sometimes there is no choice

"
I don't want to go;
You've lost enough.
Those who loved you,
Those whom you loved.
Now again you must suffer,
But I know you'll get through.
You are strong.  You are brave.
But for now, I must leave you.

I enjoyed the pyramidal form of this poem. Sometimes we don’t want to go, but we must for our own good. Here’s a tiny inspired gift poem for you:

Freedom

Parting is sweet sorrow,
but we must be free.
You shall brave tomorrow
if you still love me.
