This is the first time I've read of such metaphor. Nice and unique!
"The ocean does not cry
For the loss of a wave"
I wish as we let go of things that have become a huge part of ourselves, we'd find it easy to let go. Unfortunately, it's better said than done.

And yes, letting go is hard. Especially when its yourself that you ultimately need to let go of. When the time comes, you won't have a choice, of course. But it is easier to let go when you realise that there is nothing to hold onto, and there is noone doing the holding. Its all part of the same continually changing oneness.

Very orderly form within this poem. According to String Theory: Waves are everything. Here’s a tiny inspired gift poem which you may keep as your own:
String Theory
Trillions of things,
each in a loop,
vibrating strings
dance as a group.
Up and down swings
must fly their coop
taking on wings
climbing to swoop.

My own 'phillsophy' of life is based on quantum physics .. that there is a oneness that unfolds reality as the pure mathematical probabilities and patterns take form, and that we, as complex patterns, have evolved in a way that our brains are able to resonate with the oneness through our neurons and neural networks, and allows that oneness to have windows of awareness. Of course, other living creatures (and possibly non-living) can have levels of resonance but not necessarily as deep. Rather like a road, where some areas are flat and water runs off, but others have deeper holes where water can collect .. we are those deep puddles of oneness.

I love the mystery of it all, and I wouldn’t want it any other way for absolute certainty would leave us with no hope, no adventure, and no motivation to exist. Omnipotence and omnificence would be the death of us if we possessed it. We need a goal, a mystery to make the wheels go round.
Poems of the sea hold great metaphors and analogies. It truly is unique and straight to the point about loss and how nature can handle it better than we can. Nice poem. I really enjoy it.
We are all made primarily of water yet we turn to dust when water of life leaves. Yet in the meantime we are something vast and beautiful as we change with the tides of life. Nicely done.
