It's all in my mind

It's all in my mind

A Poem by Rogie-Dodge
"

everything

"
I see people busy themselves
Focused on their destinations.
They do not see what unfolds above them.

I breathe and raise my head.
The majestic clouds billow,
Sailing slowly, silently, across the sky.

The clouds transform and part.
The setting sun wraps itself
In the blue blanket of the sky and sleeps.

Stars appear, shy at first,
Twinkling tentatively in the black velvet,
Then blazing with the glory of a billion years

The universe reveals itself
In all the enormity of the now.
I dwell in the moment and the moment dwells in me

I realise with awe that
All I see, all I hear, all I feel,
Everything that I call real is here within my mind

Author's Note

Rogie-Dodge
I'm not sure about the order of the last two verses.
I've swapped them over now .. so the last is not "I realise with awe...".

As with society...
they do not stop and smell the rose...
just go about their day or night...
in the robotic world they live in...

I realise with awe that
All I see, all I hear, all I feel,
Everything that I call real is here within my mind

As for your author's note --- I'd go reverse...

The universe reveals itself
In all the enormity of the now.
I dwell in the moment and the moment dwells in me

I realise with awe that
All I see, all I hear, all I feel,
Everything that I call real is here within my mind

Since the title gives this verse...
not just that...
but the way it ends gives more emphasis...IMPO...

Well structured free verse. It seems that you ‘re the Adoration within each infinitesimal moment. What would be the reason for anything existing at all if it had no way of being aware of itself? Awareness gives everything meaning. Our universe conspires to fabricate Adoration. Adoration adores itself as well in a feedback loop.
