Falling - song

Falling - song

A Poem by Rogie-Dodge
"

song lyrics

"
When you're near me,
  It makes me smile.
When you need me,
  It makes my life worthwhile.
    I think that I am falling.
Your smile's so warm,
  It melts my heart.
You touch my soul;
  It's tearing me apart
    I think that I am falling.
      Falling.

Tell me why
Do I find
It's so hard to say "I love you"?
I'm so afraid I'll lose you
  If I tell you how I feel.
So I try
  Not to cry
Not to show the pain inside me.
'Cause I know the love denied me
Means me heart will always be
  Forever falling
Falling
      Falling
I'll be forever falling.

I talk to you;
You do not stay.
I reach for you;
  You push my hand away.
I think that I am falling.
You were my world
  That world has died.
My heart was full;
  Now there's no love inside.
    I think that I am falling.

Tell me why
  Did I find
It so hard to say "I love you"?
I was so afraid I'll lose you
  If I told you how I feel.
Now I try
  Not to cry
Not to show the pain inside me.
'Cause I know the love denied me
Means me heart will always be
  Forever falling
    Falling
      Falling
I'll be forever ...

Falling in love.
  Falling apart.
Falling for you
  Is breaking my heart.
Falling so hard.
  Falling so fast.
I've fallen so far,
  How long can I last?

I feel the breeze;
  Upon my face
I see the earth
  I long for its embrace.
I think that I am falling.

Tell me why
  Did I find
It so hard to say "I love you"?
I was so afraid I'll lose you
  If I told you how I feel.
Now I try
  Not to cry
Not to show the pain inside me.
'Cause I know the love denied me
Means me heart will always be
  Forever falling
    Falling
      Falling
I'll be forever falling

A tentative tale of unrequited love, and the headfirst plunge that never ends as the winds of returned affection never blow. You've structured this very well, and I imagine that sung/played it would be absolutely wonderful. Well done! :)

This actually made me teary eyed for a moment. I think that you have a very interesting perspective, and a unique style of writing that I am loving. I can't wait to read more of your work. Beautifully done
