A Swordsman's AttireA Poem by The Seeker of ThoughtsEveryone wants a good story to go with tattered robes.A swordsman walks to me in tattered clothes, He is looking for me to ask about his tattered robes. Of course I ask! I want to hear of his noble task! He begins a tail of monsters vile, How he dodged and fought in envious style. Never getting hit, Only cutting, ripping, and burning his clothes a bit. The swordsman left having ended his tail, His story had fooled me without fail. Then the truth hit me Of how the clothes really came to be. In a tavern room up the stairs, A man with clippers worked with care. He cut holes, ripped tears, and burned his robes with fire. That is the true story of the swordsman's attire.
