Starlight

The darkness surrounding us is determined by how bright we shine.

An ethereal gulf floats above.

Yet we admire the stars we love.

We care so much about their glow.

We forget darkness made them so.

We fear the dark that makes us grow,

It is needed for lights to shine, to show.

Without dark surrounding lights gleaming.

All stars in the sky lose their meaning.
