Nina

Nina

A Poem by Davi Rodrigues
"

Don't worry, Nina, I'll give you a real birthday present as soon as I get some cash. But this was something I did write for your birthday last Sunday. Happy birthday.

"
Frangipani trees
Blossom ever prettier
As the years go by

But to hell
With forms and
Sweetness
And insights on haikus
And tree metaphors

I'mma pay my tribute
My compliments
Just as free as you make me feel
You go, girl friend

About
I like writing in English, don't know why. Sometimes I think I write better in English than in my own language. Portuguese is not so much my thing. more..
