You're Gone

You're Gone

A Poem by Davi Rodrigues

Heart, given, so freely
Innocently, ideally
It won't be regretted
Though we were never wedded

The time spent was worth it
The nights together, earthy
Or not. There were some days
Of simpler and calmer ways

Now that seems not enough
And I find it kind of rough
To grasp from your voice tone
There is no turnback, you're gone

About
I like writing in English, don't know why. Sometimes I think I write better in English than in my own language. Portuguese is not so much my thing. more..
