             It Had To Be Love

It had to be love that freed my soul from eternal death.
Anything less wouldn’t have turn the lock to my chains.
With each link I forged with a desire to sin for a moment
of pleasure that came and went quick as a vapor to only
leave inside me a dead feeling of satisfaction.
When the sin was over I regretted it from my heart with
a promised I’d never do it again.
In my weakness I fail into many traps I allowed the
tempter to create just for me.
All because I went out into the world unarmed without
the Holy Spirit to shield me with the words of God.
It had to be love with no regret which cleansed my soul
anything less wouldn’t have worked.
I learn to overcome many tricks I fail into out of ignores.
I now share what I’ve learned from my battle scares I’ve
overcome with sorrowful tears for the sins I placed on Jesus
that I could have walked away from so easily.

Lets share each others footsteps so we’ll learn from each
others  mistakes so we can save Jesus from having to bear
a needless sins for we have grown in his love.  
We have to show Satan that the children of the living
God are strong enough to overcome the stumbling blocks
he has placed in our path so  that others can follow knowing
they to can overcome the tempter.
