Born Again

                            I Am Born Again

I am born again that’s who I‘ve become, I’ve been washed
in the blood of the lamb and freed from my sins.
I am born again that’s who I’ve become.
Lucifer you see this smile on my face that’s where its going
to stay.
Jesus brought me back with his love mercy and grace.

At one time in my life I was hasty to follow you Lucifer in  
blindness, I allowed you lead me on, into the darkness places
I’ve ever known.
Wild nights bright flashing lights with pills swirling up my
mine seeing demons of all kind ,thinking it was cool each time
I came down off my high.
Each trip became more instanced  until I realized I must have
been in the pits of hell.

With blood shoot eyes I yelled out God if you’re real get me
out of this  lifestyle .
A peaceful calm came over me something I haven’t felt in a
while or since I was a child.
A voice so sweet and tender said do you remember me?
I couldn’t help but to recall words my Sunday school teacher
use to say always remember God will never forsake you.
Over and over in my heart  I yelled out I do I do remember you ,
 I do I do remember you  Lord.
Jesus replied then you’re mine and I’m yours forever.
