Allow Me

              Allow Me

Allow me stand strong when
evil is all around me.
Allow me to be in your shadow
to learn to live in your light.
Allow me to barrow your love
until I learn to love like you.
Allow me to plow and plant the
seeds of your words into the
stubborn rust stain hearts of the
many that refuses  to believe.
Allow my heart to connect with
the unbeliever to answer each
questions same as you would.
To replace dolt with trust so I can
be there guide out of the darkness
as you Lord sent another to lead
me out of my darkness.
Allow me to walk by temptation
as if it wasn’t there.
Allow this heart of mine to
translate your love in the many
ways you care for us.
