It was a day like no other in the Kingdom of Gondia. The
sun was shining brightly and the weather was pleasant. Children were outside
playing in the streets and gardens. One of the children tripped over something
while running behind his friends. He got up and looked down, eyes wide with
awe. There lay a beautiful red diamond. He picked it up and hide it in his
trousers, and continued running.

"Mister Dalven!
Mister Dalven!" a small voice shouted behind him. The old man turned
around and saw a small child running towards him. "That would be me. How
may I help you?" He asked, kneeling down to the boy's height. "I
found this and I thought it might be yours since you are the only one who does
much traveling around here" The boy answered in one big breath, handing
Dalven a bright red diamond. "I have never seen it before, my boy. Go look
around for its owner"
"It might belong to one of the merchants that come for out
yonder. I think you should keep it until they return" and with that, the
boy ran back to his friends, who were eyeing him suspiciously. Dalven looked
once more at the diamond and walked back to his little cottage. "Kolthia"
he touched the door and it burst open. He walked in and found a box to put the diamond
in. He put it inside the box and muttered "Mongia". The box
closed with a slam and when he tried to open it again, it was impossible. With
that done, he left his cottage to walk outside.
