Dear love

here I'm standing by your grave
with a letter in my hands
to which i state my lifeless words
turned to smoke from this ruthless shock

my words are choked
tears flutter down my cheeks
but i keep going
i keep trying to breath

I'm calm,
for fear that i might break
realization hits me
that it is your life god decided to take

Dear love,
take care in heaven
for i know that's where you'll be

Dear love,
don't you ever forget
how much you mean to me

Dear love,
take my lips with you
and keep every kiss

Dear love,
its so hard
to know how much you're missed

Dear love,
count every day without me
and turn them into good

Dear love,
i never showed how much i loved you
as much as i knew i should
