paint my world a million colors

carry me away
im here
laying on the floor
my mind turns to gray

the vibrant shines of yellow
my thoughts burst into blue
and then as i awake
its black waking up without you

i cant dream when im awake
and so as my life follows
ill lay down, and go back to sleep
knowing the gleams of orange
for only a moment ill keep

take me into heaven
paint my life in shades of red
when you paint my world a million colors
ill never, EVER find myself dead

The whole basis of this poem is alluring and beautiful. The last stanza is my favorite: "take me into heaven paint my life in shades of red when you paint my world a million colors ill never,EVER find myself dead." Just so brilliant and beautiful.

I love the second stanza. Great piece.
My only suggestion is to take out the "EVER" in the very last line. It's taking away from the effect rather than emphasizing it, in my opinion.. while great already, the poem would be just as great without it. You don't necessarily have to agree, though :) You're the writer.
